Artist Carla J. Cebrelli with Jake

Originally from New England, Carla J. Cebrelli is a Fine Art graduate of the prestigious Paier College of Art in New Haven, Connecticut. Carla relocated to Phoenix in 1984 to better pursue her dual passions---art and horses. Over the years, she has established a reputation of excellence in both fields. She is accomplished in oils, acrylics, graphite and pastels, and is often commissioned to create customized paintings, some of them with the look and feel of the early New Mexico "Society of Artists" style. In a lighter vein, she designs and paints murals, scrolling and unique textures for accent walls, archways, and powder rooms.

Since childhood, her passion for life and all creatures of the earth has inspired her interest in portraiture, equine, and wildlife painting and her first hand knowledge of horse anatomy and musculature make her horse portraits among the best in the country. But, children or adults, equine or wildlife, what sets them apart from the rest is her uncanny ability to capture her subject's unique personality and spirit.

Carla feels, "When you create from the soul, the result is an extraordinary expression of Life."

Carla's work has been shown in prominent Scottsdale and Carefree galleries and is presently available for viewing at the John B. Strong Fine Art Gallery, 7172 East Main Street Scottsdale, AZ 85251, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has also exhibited at the Phippen Museum's Western Art show in Prescott, the Sun Dome, the Biltmore Shops at El Pedregal, and has been a featured artist in such publications as the Arizona Republic, the Sonoran News, the Desert Advocate and the Carefree Enterprise magazine.

"Many thanks to the brilliant instructors at Paier College. Today I can apply what I've learned, along with what I've experienced through my own work, when teaching my students. I consider this a special gift.to me.and from me." she says.
